Cindy Meckl 

​

Cindy has been a part of the preschool since its inception and creation in 2004.  She started as a member of the preschool committee, then a teacher in the program in 2006 and the Director/Administrator in 2007.



She has been a part of the Oconomowoc community since 1993 and a member of First Congregational UCC since 1994.



She has been married to Andy since October 1990 and has 2 children - Renate and Easton.  She also has 2 rescue dogs (Jordie & Cobby) who keep her very active!  In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports (Packers, Brewers, Bucks and college softball), traveling, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, gardening,  and spending time with family.

Deb Schuyler 

 

Deb joined the Heart and Hands Christian Preschool family in the fall of 2007. She can honestly say she loves to come to work.  Deb not only enjoys taking continuing education classes, she also feels the children teach her new things every day. Deb and her husband, Tim were raised in the Oconomowoc area. In 1987, Tim went active duty for the Army and they traveled. In 2002, their daughter, Alyssa was born in Hawaii. Tim retired in 2006, and they returned to Oconomowoc. The Schuyler’s are members of the First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Teresa Schmeling

​

Teresa's youngest daughter, Emma, had attended the first class at Hearts & Hands in 2004.  Loving the Christian fundamentals and the nurturing atmosphere, Teresa joined the Hearts & Hands team in 2008, working in the MWF 3/4-year-old class, the TTh 2.5 class, and assisting with the Friday Fun class.

Teresa has lived in Oconomowoc since 2002 with her high-school sweetheart and husband, Jon, and their two girls, Jessica and Emma.

Teresa loves to spend her spare time with her family and friends, resale shopping, reading good books and playing with her three adorable puppies, Buddy, Murphy, and Kennedy.

Joyce McGuire

Joyce was very excited to join the Hearts and Hands Preschool Team for Fall 2019!  She loves being back in a Christian preschool and loves the boundless energy and enthusiasm of children!

​

Joyce and her husband Shaun have lived in Oconomowoc since 2004, and have three children, Brianne, Shane and Molly.  In her spare time she enjoys cheering on the Brewers and Packers, and loves to spend time at their cabin in Minocqua, going boating, and spending time outdoors with their two dogs, Sheldon and Vinnie.
